Resolved: Trafalgar Tours - Trafalgar Cancelled and money not returned as yet
Traflgar paid back the trip money minus a credit card fee and following the second letter apologised and confirmed they had the correct information from the beginning
After more phone calls and 2 letters Trafalgar finally paid back the trip money minus a credit card fee.
It is now over 3 weeks and still no refund from Trafalgar despite 4 phone calls and being promised that the payment had been batched and would be in the bank in more working days. This is ridiculous!
and is costing us money. Never again will I use Traflagar.
My husband and I booked a Canadian Rockies trip with Trafalgar (Cost Saver), We paid in full at the time of booking and then organised our entire holiday and flights around this trip in December 2018. I received an email ( no phone call or personal contact at all) on the 18th of Feb - saying that the company cancelled the tour- because of not enough numbers.
I asked for my money back on the 20th of Feb and was told that it would be 2-5 working days. This passed and I contacted the company and was told it would be 7-10 working days. Well up to day 10 and still no refund.
Really disappointed and upset as we have had to make alternate arrangements and we need our refund to pay for this. By the way all other tours groups for this exact trip at the same time we planned to go are all full or only have 1 seat left- so find it a bit hard to believe that there were not enough bookings!
